Rosalia was born on National Farm Day to our foundation dam Olivia. What a great surprise - she has been turning heads ever since! Rosalia has a solid black blanket, with white on her legs and her face. Absolutely adorable, she looks like a filly pronking in the pasture. Rosalia shares the same sire, Advocate, with her older award-winning sister Velvetina. We are so pleased with these two girls that we repeated the Advocate/Olivia pairing once again for 2008 (that’s how amazing these girls are!). Rosalia is sweet and calm. She has great conformation and beautifully soft fiber for a dark alpaca. Her bite is exactly as it should be. Rosalia suffered a leg injury on the winter ice, which may keep her off of our show string, but it sure won’t keep her out of our breeding program..

Rosalia has been bred to Patchwork Meadow's Braveheart, for a late summer 2010 birth. Braveheart has produced outstanding crias for us, and he is sure to continue to build his reputation with this latest pairing. We are looking forward to seeing what Rosalia and Braveheart together will bring to our farm. That is, of course, unless some lucky farm sees her value and snatches her up before then!

Rosalia is offered with a live birth guarantee and a free rebreeding to a Patchwork Meadow herdsire of buyers' choosing.

September, 2010 Update:  Rosalia has given birth to a son, an eye-catching black and white male with an absolutely winning personality to match his good looks. Please look for Bull on our crias page.

We are so pleased with this Braveheart offspring, that Rosalia has been bred back to Braveheart for a Fall, 2012 cria.
